The Status of Enjoyable Marriage Portion

The author of this article argues about the validity of enjoyable-marriage portion from the view point of jurisprudence and Islamic law. As a womanʹs financial right. The research in this paper is descriptive and is supported by analyses based on jurisprudence sources. The issue taken up by this article is well jushfied as the delineation of the financial rights and obligations of the couples is of significance, and a challenge in all schools of law and in Islam. This article focuses on a particular item in the set of financial rights of the wife: the portion due to enjoyable marriage. The conclusion is enjoyable-marriage portion is not creditables as a kind of marriage portion, but it is a legal obligation
