ECONOMICAL DESIGN OF VARIABLE ACCEPTANCE SAMPLING WITH INSPECTION ERRORS

This pap er develops op timal economical models for va riable acce ptance samplings when insp ection errors ar e conside red. In th is model , we used th e Tagu chi function for a.cceptance of th e sampling cos t , when vari abl es have normal distribution. An opt imal method is pr esented , considerin g insp ecti on errors to be constant and decreasing /increasing pattern s. A sensit ivity analysis was don e to find th e feasibility of th e models. There is also a compa rison between th e Tagnchi cos t method and th e Stepwi se method (Traditional meth od) . Finally, some num erical examples are given and solved by Maple software to facilitate th e comparison between th e methods.
