OPTIMIZATION OF RAW MATERIAL AND WORK-IN-PROCESS INVENTORY LEAD TIME IN IRAN AUTOMBILE SUPPLY CHAIN

In the automobile chain of Iran, improving the automo­bile industry and increasing the numbers of the part- marker Company, is the cause of the rising importance of Resourse scheduling in the supply chain. In addi­tion, a new sceua.rio is needed to fullfill the demands of the customer, because of the accelerated competition the of market structure and the shortened life of pro­ductions. Some research shows that performances of JIT and MRPII do not help to decrease delay costs for the expccted time of procurement and that there is an enforced receiven time from the supplier to the manu­facturer. In this article, these problems has been solv­ing by entrancing .Just In Time (JIT) into Material Re­sourse Planning (MRPII) by a. two stage model. In the first level, two inventory models calculate an amount, of material, which depends on the number of supplierʹs and comply with JIT regulations. Consequently, the sec­ond level determines the optimization lead time by cus­tomer.There is a mode! which aims to minimize the cost, of delay.
