The issue of usury transactions and interest rate between Muslims and infidels in non-muslim countries - Dar Ul-harb - and muslim countries - Dar Ul-Islam - is considered as one of the significant issues, especially for Muslims residing in non- muslim countries. So as to extract the religious jurisprudence with regard to interest rate and usury transactions between muslim and infidel nations, the present essay studies the traditions and verdicts of Shiite and Sunnite scholars while considering the regulations held between muslim and non- muslim countries at present time.
