Military Training in Iran (During the Qajar Era) According to Military Training Manuscripts and Lithographs

Throughout its history, the army of Iran has undergone various changes and faced several ups and downs. The new era of modernism in Iran had important effects on the army, which was then known as "the Qoshun". After this era, the armyʹs form which was then distributed among tribes changed. Studying the reasons and grounds for such a change, the factors that affected it, the % role of external factors, and the positive effects of this change on the good ^ performance of the army in the later wars, requires a thorough research. This 3 IX article reviews some reasons for changes in the traditional training methods in Iranʹs army. It does so by studying the military bylaws and pamphlets which J are available as manuscripts or lithographs.
