Identification of Special Phonetic Features with the Aid of Rhyme in Naser Khosrowʹs Poems

In this paper, the phonetic features of Naser Khosrowʹs Divan are examined with regard to rhyme and its rules rather than from a linguistic perspective. After the investigation of each phonetic form, this study, by searching within the texts from different periods and distinct geographical regions, tires to find out if the pronunciations under discussion have been specific to Naser Khosrow and his land and his time or not. This research is also one step towards the developing of a dictionary of geographical and historical phonetic forms in Persian ancient texts.
