The Interpreters and Commentators of Ibn Arabiʹs Mystic School

Among Ibn Arabiʹs mystic writings, his book entitled Fusus al-hekam enjoys specific features. This deep work has stated many subtle points of religious knowledge and mysteries of theoretical mysticism. Undoubtedly, this book has influenced the Muslimsʹ spiritual thought and has been counted as one of the most important textbooks on theoretical mysticism in scientific circles for many years. Besides, the teachers of mysticism have been teaching it in high levels of education for long years, and many commentators have tried to explain its problems, indications and allusions as carefully as possible. After Ibn Arabi, his principles of mysticism have always been subject to scrutiny and investigation by great scholars of mysticism; many great commentators have explained, studied and reviewed his mystical thoughts, writing invaluable books on this point. The present article is introducing the commentators of Ibn Arabiʹs mystical school.
