The study area is located in the east part of Tabas City. The volcanic rocks of Shotory in the 1/250000 sheet of Boshroye (Eocene) is a small and first part of lut volcanism and intermidiated basaltio, andesitic and rhyolitic rocks. The Pyroclastic rocks in this area are in inferior part of contact vol­canic rocks and are small in volume. Basaltic rocks are the first activity of volcanism and have loast volume in the other volcanic rocks. The results of mineralogy, petrographi and geochemical char­acteristics of these rocks are similar volcanic rocks the And area. Characteristic of volcanic rocks of Shotory is Calco - alkalin and High- Potasic. According to this study is related to subduction between Hirmand and lut Block with the age rang upper Cretases.
