The Mankind In The World of "Shadows and Souls": A Study of Views of the Scholars living in the 11,12, and 13th Centuries After Hejrat

Creation of the souls, before the bodies, is an important issue which has been discussed by many of the Shia scholars. The views and t h comments of 12 Shia scholars who lived from the 11 century A.H. (Mir th Damad) to the 13 century A.H.(Mulla Hadi Sabzewari), are mentioned, and they are briefly discussed in the light of the Islamic traditions (hadith) regarding the creation of the souls before the creation of the bodies of mankind. The truth of the manʹs soul, which is referred by "I"; the material origin of soul or spiritual and light origin of soul; the Divine convention about vilayat from mankind; the eternity of spirits; the prior creation of soul over body; and coincident creation of soul and body are the issues, which have been discussed and studied according to the views of the Shia scholars.
