A Study of the Pray of Imam Sadiq (p.b.u.h) at the Time of Recitation of the Holy Qurʹan

Pray is a means to express humbility, request, and cry of the obedient to the Divine Presence. In some of the Islamic traditions pray is meant as the arm of the Prophets and the believers. There is related a pray from Imam Sadiq (p.b.v.h) which is read at the time of recitation of the holy Qurʹan. In this pray some of the qualities and characteristics of Qurʹan such as Light and Guidance; some of the privileges and responsibilities of the reciters and memorizers of Qurʹan; the importance and value of reciting Qurʹan especially during the night time; the meaning of heart and its position in understanding the knowledge of Qurʹan; Intercession of Qurʹan in the Last Day; and the support of the holy Qurʹan from the reciters and memorizers of it during the judgement have been studiea and explained in the light of the Quranic verses and the Islamic traditions.
