Culture and Innovation

Although social life is not restricted to human beings and animals enjoy it too, what differentiates human life from the collective life of the animalsʹ is its dynamicity and vivacity; this is itself one of the consequences of innovation: human beings can change their environment and create new representations in it by relying on their divinely-bestowed reason and the revelational doctrines. Creating this dynamicity and freshness requires some tools; in this paper, we have tried to study one of the effective tools in innovation and investigate its relationship to the emergence of innovation. The question of how "culture" - especially religious culture and values, in view of their unique features - can prepare the ground for innovation is the very question that the present paper tries to answer in order to open a sociological atmosphere in the way towards innovation.
