Prioritization of Factors Influencing Tacit Knowledge Externalization in the R&D Organization (Case Study is Research Institute of Petroleum Industry)

Undoubtedly, in todayʹs world knowledge is an important capital for nations, and each nation and community who use this gift more, will be more succeeded. Facing the global challenges, according to definition of Nonaka and Takeuchi, knowledge is divided into two groups: explicit and tacit, explicit knowledge is compiled and un­derstandable but tacit knowledge is uncompelled and is not easily transferable. Therefore, organizations are deprived to reach in this knowledge and such privations cause organizations (specially research and develop­ment organizations) make incorrect decisions and result in many problems including re- doing the jobs, increase of costs. This paper, reviewing subjectʹs literature and relying on various scientist s works and performing as indicative research by case study in Research institute of oil industry, attempts to Priority of factors influencing tacit knowl­edge externalization in the R&D organization, to prevent redoing , waste sources and finally increase of costs.
