Rationalism and Social-Orientedness, two Features of Social Interpretations

Intellectual developments of the Muslim world in 14 th /20 th century were the resultant of a new approach to the Qurʹan which all in all gave rise to the reformative movement. Rationalism and social-orientedness in interpretation were the two features which attracted the reformistsʹ attention in religious revivalism. The writer is trying to delve into and recognize the different branches of this exegetical process.
