The University is one of the main mobilizing factors for developing creativeness in a society; because the university can prepare the students for a better thinking, originality, innovativeness, and ability to face the still unknown or new issues in the field of science and society, as well as to fill scientific vacuums. This can be effectively achieved through a dynamic system of education and active educational guidelines. If we consider the human being as the base in the arena of creativeness and thought-building, no artist or craftsman can match the Prophet (SAWA). Nor we can find among ideological systems, any intellectual and practical system like Islam with its emphasis on creative thought and creativeness. Thought, insight, and creativeness are among the issues that are specifically highlighted in the behaviour and practice of the Prophet (SAWA), and their lustre is not hidden from anyone. The Prophet (SAWA), in order to stimulate thought and make people discover their hidden abilities for activating the movement towards perfection, had always used different modes of creativeness, such as freedom of the intellect, dialogue, debate, narrations, moral lessons, argumentation, comparison, and practical demonstration through the mediums of sight and hearing, etc. In this article, creative thought has been focused upon as the main methodology of the Prophetʹs (SAWA) teachings. It also discusses the modes which he used to rouse up peopleʹs minds towards creativity and creative thought, with an analysis of the place of creative thought in the Prophetʹs (SA WA) educational method.
