The Role of University in the Cultural Engineering of Country

By culture we mean customs, behaviours, values, and norms which occur in every personʹs individual and social life. In order to keep cultural elements safe, to make them productive according to conditions of time and place, and to preserve them against dangers, so as to help them thrive, leaders try to designate a certain format in the dynamics of the system. The interaction of such a system with other factors of national importance creates an air of exuberance to the extent that all factors acquire an identity, characteristic and direction of their own. The result is that these cultural elements consolidate and stabilize the society against cultural, economic, political and military assaults, by ensuring its progress. This is the very plan that emerges after expounding of the engineering of culture and cultural engineering. The University, as a centre in which these elements are institutionalized and updated, greatly contributes to the trend of development and the deepening of cultural elements, thereby making culture interact properly with other factors of national importance. The University prepares the necessary atmosphere to build up behavioural skills through propounding bases and values which spring from a world outlook, and are affected by environmental conditions. In this article we have tried to set forth and prove this issue.
