Pathology of Denial of Religious Science

Religious science is one of the most important contemporary issues and challenges, which has drawn the attention of proponents and opponents. One of the opponents of this theory is Dr. Soroush who has dealt with and judged about it in several works and lectures. He claims to have examined sciences from the two positions of ʹProof (genuineness of subject, genuineness of method and genuineness of goal) and *Demonstration V and has ended up by denying religious science. The writer of this article has elucidated the theory of denial of religious science and has subjected it to pathological criticism. He has also shed light on six pitfalls in this path, namely: the danger of historical negligence, epistemological lapse, confusion concerning distinction of sciences and distinction of branches of science, paralogism of negating of one or more of its meanings in order to deny religious science, the danger of ignoring religious sources, and the deliberate rejection of religious science by attempting to undermine the scientific approach itself
