The Political Groups and Parties among the Companion of the Prophet; the Factors of their Early Development

After the Prophetʹs Emigration (Hijri), the first independent community was set up. Although, the Islamic precepts contributed to diminishing or erasing a lot of disagreements, disputes and distinctions, there existed political groups and parties among the Companions of the Prophet. In and attempt to investigates the factors which of the development of these political groups and parties, the article draws attention to a number of them, such as lack or weakeness of faith, adherence to the behavior of the Pre-Islam period which roused racism and tribalism to develop and the difference between the cultural backgrounds of Mecca and Madinah.
