چكيده لاتين :
This paper focuses on the individual and social economical rate of return of the PhD course assuming the faculty membersʹ salaries increased in 2006. It also considers the effect of this increase on the rate of return of higher education investment. The data was gathered by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. The researchers used two methods: cost-benefit analysis and Mincer equation through using cost-benefit mathematical model, panel data and software tools Eviews and Matlab for determining the rates. The results show that individual and social rates of return of the PhD course. The coefficient in the standard Mincer equation is negative. This survey indicates the cost-opportunity that individual and society pays for the PhD course is much higher than the expected benefits, and it means that the policy makers in the government have to deal with it when the higher education training course is the issue. In other words the faculty membersʹ salaries should be reconsidered by the government
