Defining the roles and Responsibilities of Chief information Officers (CIOs) & Chief Knowledge Officers(CKOs)

In this paper, firstly, analyses important features and approaches of chief knowledge and information Officer from the view points of pertinent experts and researchers. The work areas of the two cases are then compared here in this paper. Further more, it discusses why some people agree and/or disagree with merging and defining the duties of Chief information and knowledge Officer in organizational structures.
