The purpose of this article is to study the features of Shams Tabriziʹs mythical language. This study will make the reader more familiar with the language of Mawlana and will lead him to a better understanding of Mawlanaʹs instructions. It will also pave the way for solving the mysteries and problems in understanding Mawlanaʹs Masnavi. The most important features of Mawlanaʹs language are its clarity and simplicity. His language is narrative, colloquial and taken from tfie common language of ordinary people. All these features can also be found in the language of other mystics but something that distinguishes Mawlanaʹs language from their language is the reflection of his critical insight in his language.
