The purpose of this paper is to examine Mowlanaʹs deconstructionist attitude towards supplication. Supplication is a special concept in the many-sided mind of Mowlana which finds a different manifestation in every minute. It is formed, like the whole Masnavi, in the endless play of signifiers and signifieds, in the relativity of meaning and in the many facets of understanding.
