Analyzing the problem of evil with emphasis upon Imam Khomeini s theological and philosophical opinions

Precisely considering Imam Khomeiniʹs theological and philosophical opinions on the problem of evil, one understand that pure evil or a being containin many evils is not truly created and because of not making distinction between essential evil and accidental evil some doubts in this field has occurred. Imam presenting a new division of evil on which every existent can be compared with three other existents: causes, effects and those of the same level. The first and second are in fall harmony and therefore, cannot be considered harmful with regard to one another. Only in the third some kind of harm or imperfection may be possible. Yet the possible evil never would be equal to or more than the interests involved. Referring to the imagined kinds of evil presented firstly by Aristotle and then, completed by Mir Damad, he has added some other kinds to it. He, then, has proved impossibility of any imagined existence of evil logically. Again Imam has challenged the view of Allamah Majlesi on createdness of good and evil in detail.
