A study of atemporal creation

Mir Damad established the theory of atemporal creation to settle the difference between theologians and philosophers. Claiming a hierarchical conception of time. First there is time (zaman), to which the atemporal and everlasting are superior and more expansive. God with all His qualities is self- standing in everlasting, not in time or atemporal. In this way, the philosopher tried to solve the well-known problem of huduth (creation) and qidam (pre-eternity) of the world. A group of philosophers have supported his view; however a large number of them have criticized his view. The paper has looked at the critical views of his opponents and criticized his view. Though Mir Damad has tried much to solve the problem, he has not been able to solve it. The theory is the same as essential creation or something like it with another name.
