چكيده لاتين :
Spying means prying into hidden things or mysteries of others, and
in norms and society, it is considered an unpleasant deed. Therefore, a
person who commits this act is condemned and rejected.
God, the Exalted, considers spying a great sin and forbids 111an
from performing it. The Holy Quran appeals to Muslims: "0
believers ! Avoid any kind of being suspicious towards others, for
some suspicions are sins. And never pry into mysteries of others." (S:
Hujarat, 12) This is an absolute prohibition and involves confinements
and restrictions that should be regarded carefully.
This paper seeks to investigate this quest through referring to all
jurisprudential sources as well as to jurisprudentsʹ concensus. It also
attempts to conclude its decree according to certain conditions and
requirements under the auspices of the Islamic system and regime.
