Virtual factory: Modern theory in industry precinct

The fourth generation of human progress after three of the agriculture, industry and the Information is virtual age. One of the important results of this age is emersion of virtual organizations by technological advances in communications. The most important feature of the organizations is integration all or part of the production, financial and other facilities of independent and specialty organizations that establish the virtual organization by Information Technology. It thinks about achieving to the common object which is perpetuity of organization in commercial rivalry. By this way, the flexibility and responding ability can be improving against the changes of market and customerʹs requests. This article presents the characteristics of the virtual factory and comparing it with traditional Supply Chain model.
