The challenge between formative and religious signs modernity age

The challenge between formative and religious signs or science and religion is one of issues that has had a new novel configuration since few centuries ago. The influence of this phenomenon in forming of epistemology and ontology foundations and also in shaping the way of life of contemporary human beings has been so highly that it is to say modern science and civilization would go another way this etfeit has not happened. Although this challenge appeared in Christian west, it entered in Islam world with the same style and without any attention to its background. This paper tends to review Motahariʹs enlightening thoughts in this case that is one of propounded discussions in religion philosophy and also in modem science philosophy. Reconstructing the condition and space that in it science and religion antinomy grew, we have stated briefly the reasons of challenge and historical way of the matter in west and have shown that in emerging of this challenge both Christian religion custodians and modem science hesitate authors have been guilty. When it has been necessary related to propounded discussions, we also have stated about getting rid of these antinomies from the Motahariʹs points of view. The aim of this paper is to declare a historical hard experience in order to take a lesson. We hope forgiving insight of wisdom and knowledge people compensate its failures.
