In gnosticism, human has a special place. Mawlana, in all of his works, particularly in Masnavi has discussed this subject. He has investigated human being either at his highest rank who has been regarded as a complete man or at his lowest place. At the same time, Mawlana has examined self and its various kinds. He has introduced the most evil trick of the self when it becomes friend with human. The present article has dealt with the above-mentioned issues and has described some stories from Masnavi.
