چكيده لاتين :
The experiment conducted in two years for improving restorer lines in Khoy Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Station. 51 restorer line belong to S3-S5 generation resulted from self pollination in 16 imported hybrids, crossed with two CMS lines; CMS 19 and CMS60/52 as testers in first year. 34 single cross combinations evaluated in a two replicated 6x6 lattice designs in second year and estimated GCA and SCA effects using line x tester analysis method. According to the results lines effects was significant for flowering and 1000 seed weight. This variation could be used for producing early mature sunflower hybrids. There were significant differences among two testers for most traits. Line x Tester interactions were significant for growth period, 1000 seed weight and oil content. This means that lines reaction was different for two testers. Considering GCA effects lines R19, R3 and R41 had significant GCA with appropriate direction for flowering time, R45 for growth period, R21, R34 and R42 for head diameter, R56, R15 and R42 for seed weight, R21, R34 and R50 for seed number, R3 and R21 for oil content and R34 and R56 for seed and oil yield. Considering SCA effects RlxCMS19 had significant with desirable direction SCA for growth period, R1 x CMS60/52 for seed weight, R15xCMS19 for seed number, R1 xCMS60/52, R34 x CMS 19 and R15 x CMS60/52 for oil content and RlxCMS60/52 and R34xCMS19 for seed and oil yield. GCA variances were greater than SCA variance for flower initiation, plant height, 1000 seed weight and seed number indicated that additive effects has main role on these traits. CMS 19 tester line had more efficiency for combining ability evaluation.
