Investigating the relationship between birth order, time of the birth and prevalence of physical, mental & sensory-motor disabilities in Iran

This research is conducted to investigate the relationship between birth order, of the birth time and prevalence of physical, mental & sensory motor disabilities. For this, 3857 child and youths (5-25) were selected from rural and urban regions,Results showed that there was a relationship between birth order & prevalence of disabilities. On the other hand, first children of the families with several children, were more at risk. This finding was same for birth time.i,e, those infants that were born in Isfand & Farvardin months, were at risk in contrasting to the other months. Applied recommendations were presented at the end of articles.
