Human Rights, Democracy and Development

In the present international community, human rights have constituted a superior political idea. It is also the case for development and democracy. Those regimes which do not claim to pursue sustainable and fast economic growth (development), political participation (democracy) and observing the rights of their citizens (human rights), compromise their national and international legitimacy. This article tries to study the relationship between the efforts made for development with those seeking to promote human rights standards and democracy.
