studying the educational history of 20th century,we can observe the existence and the influence of progressive educator in educational field. London school has been founded on the doctrines of educational liberalism and analytic approach which was a reaction to progressive points of view. The emphasis of this article is Petersʹ and Hirstʹs points of view. They are two of the founders of London school. According to these philosophersʹ, points of view we have tried to dicuss aims, content and method of education.It has to beborne in mind that studies on other schools can be a valuable challenge for thoughts and will be the base for a stable and coherent philosophical framework of education in our country.
