A Comparative Study of the Symbol of Spiritual Personality in Fazil Ayaz (Sheikh Attar) and John Val John (Victor Hugo)

This article surveys the reasons of Victor Hugoʹs attention to Iranian Literature and tries to clarify the similarity of his thoughts and considerations to those of Attarʹs based on theme of spirituality. The main message of this article is "Repentance" which leads the heroes of Attar and Hugo to spiritual superiority.
