Principles and philosophy of education is one of the useful and essential courses in teacher training. Whenever the content of this course is formulated on the basis of professional needs of teachers and also present in a correct method, it can have an important role in improving their functions. Therefore, the purpose of present study is to analyze and study of current syllabus of philosophy of education course in teacher training programs in Iran and compare it with some other countries. As a result, we can pave the way for planning and formulating of desirable model of syllabus that includes goals, number of units and main content, to achieve the mentioned purpose, the curriculum of teacher training courses with focus on syllabus that included issues of philosophy of education have been studied in some universities in the United State, Australia, England, Canada, Indiana and China The findings of the study were presented in organized table which are consisted of title of courses, number of units, goals and main content. Finally the results of the study have been discussed.
