چكيده لاتين :
In this paper the effect of Cu wire inserts (0.6,0.9 and 1.4 mm diameters) on the microstructure of the interface of A413 aluminum alloy matrix and inserts was investigated. Inserted in polystyrene pattern technique was used for producing and casting of test bars. Cu/Al rich phases were formed in some parte of interface depending on the size of Cu inserts. The results showed that it would be possible to use this technique for studying two or three phase systems, which seems to be feasible with low cost. Some primary Si particles were noticed to have been formed in the vicinity of the insert while the matrix alloy was and eutectic Al-Si alloy. This seems to be the result of preferred solution of Cu in Al alloy matrix and forced precipitation of primary Si particles in the conditions of experiment.
