چكيده لاتين :
Now a day gray cast irons have widely uses in the word, because of their special properties. One of these applications is wear resistance particles. In this research effects of matrix phases of gray cast iron, with the constancy of other parameters, on the wear resistance of the alloy were investigated. For this purpose, different heat treatment conditions were studied in order to produce fully ferritic to fully pearlitic microstructures. Then, pin on disc wear test at the constant rate of 0.75 m/s and 10 Km distance with different loads of 4 to 12 Kg were done.
The results show that, fully pearlitic samples have minimum, while fully ferritic ones have maximum weight loss, wear rate, and the depth of plastically deformed layers. Moreover, the basics wear mechanisms in all samples were studied, and it is cleared up that, these mechanisms have been changed from mild oxidative wear, for pearlitic microstructure samples, to adhesive wear, for ferritic microstructure samples.
