The Global System and the Future of Islamic Revolution

The 1979 Islamic Revolution was a momentous event, causing enormous changes in different subjective and objective fields in the world, affecting global equations, and changing the directions illustrated by the superpowers of the world. This article examines how important the role of Islamic Republic in changing the global equations was, whether Islamic Revolution did play a significant role in international relations, and what the place of Islamic Revolution in future global system would be. The author discusses the position of the West and the Communist countries briefly and separately, and elaborates the challenges before them. He, then, counts Islamic Republic of Iran privileges in the world calling them significant in the future of its international role. He suggests that Iran requires plans and actions, as the twenty-year prospect document, to save an appropriate international role.
