Phonetic Examination of Itbaq and Mutbaqa Letters in Orthoepy and Recitation of the Holy Qurʹan

since long time ago, Muslims linguistics and particularly the reciters of the Qurʹan who have written about and been expert at the science of orthoepy and Qurʹanic recitation (tajwid), have opened up a discussion about itbaq and mutbaqa letters and studied these letters in view of their articulation and attributes. The present writing tries to address the viewpoints of the Muslim linguistics from the perspective of modern phonology and phonemics and set forth a scientific, fundamental, and modern description of itbaq (velarization) and mutbaqa letters (velarized consonants).
