Soft Power of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Central Asia; A Comparison with the Middle East

The soft power is the product of positive image-building and gaining credit in global public opinion which indirectly affects the interests or behavior of other states by using leverages like culture, history, humane goals or values. The aim of this article is to analyze the extent of elements of soft, power of Iran in Central Asia in comparison with this power in the Middle Hast. The findings of the research show that the Islamic Republic of Iran enjoys the most utilization of its soft power in Central Asia amounting to %50, 09 placing the Middle Hast in second place at %49. 91.
