Introduction to the Effect of Hajj Rituals on Humanʹs Affective

The present article aims at investigating some psychological aspects of Hajj rituals. To do so, it uses an analytical-descriptive method, referring to authentic Islamic sources and psychology to investigate the effect of Hajj rituals on humanʹs affective dimension. The results of the research show that in the affective dimension, Hajj rituals increase the feelings of peace, reinforce the feeling of attachment to God, and prepare the ground for cutting worldly attachments, heightening the self-respect of the pilgrims themselves.
