Youthfulness from Religious and Psychological Viewpoints

The youthful period is one of the important, crucial and critical periods in human life. This period, beginning after teenage period and continuing up to the middle age, has special features and is accompanied by special events. In this period, the youths normally enjoy unique moral, behavioral, affective, cognitive and spiritual characteristics. As to the youthsʹ characteristics in this period and even the limits and scope of youthfulness, there have been discussions in religious and psychological teachings. The present article uses a research approach to deal with the youthsʹ characteristics and the importance of youthfulness from point of view of religious and psychological teachings. It aims at investigating and explaining the status of youthfulness in religious and psychological teachings, as well as studying the youthsʹ characteristics. This paper uses a descriptive-analytical method to evaluate and analyze the characteristics and status of the youths.
