The Guardian Councilʹs supervision of the elections is the subject of the 99th article of IRI Constitutional Law; it was the object of disagreement in the 4th round elections of Islamic Consultative Assembly, and the legal office for interpretation of Constitutional Law, i.e. the Guardian Council, interpreted it as the rightly (istiswabi) supervision. This interpretation, in spite of its legal status, has always been criticized by opponents, resulting in some answers on the part of its proponents. However, in view of the dispersion of criticisms and doubts proposed regarding the background and proofs of this type of supervision, the principle of interpretation of supervision, the realm of supervision by the Guardian Council, the nature of its supervision, particular elections..., the answers have been dispersed as well. Thus, the present paper aims at presenting a comprehensive and specialized answer to the criticisms and doubts put forward on the abovementioned principle. This study is free from political aspects and conducted through a jurisprudential and legal method, proving some important results such as the legal status of the interpreter as well as the veracity and validity of the interpretation process.
