A study of effective social and cultural factors in social identity (A case study of Hshtgerd city)

The purpose of this research is to study the effective social and cultural factors in the social identity of the youth of Hashtgerd in three dimensions: national identity, religious identity and family identity. Giddense theories were used in this research .the research variable are self- satisfaction , self- confidence , fundamental confidence , ability of rationality , expanse of communication net , social and economical state , national identity , religious identity and family identity . Survey method was used and data collection was based on questionnaire technique. The statistical population was the youth of Hashtgerd (men and women) from 15-29 years of age. Sampling was based on grade and random method and 376 samples were included. The research conclusions are as follows: There is not meaningful relationship between three dimension of social identity and S.E.S. other variables, however correlate with each other. Interaction relationship is alsofound. 73percentage of statistical population has high national identity, 71 % of statistical population has high religious identity and 85% of it has high family identity .Expanse of communication net. National identity and religious identity correlated with correlate coefficient of 0.422 and national identity and family identity correlated with correlate coefficient of 0.314 and religious identity and family identity correlated with correlate coefficient of 0.289.
