This study analyses the effects of internal factors of SMEs on corporate entrepreneurship. First scales for measuring internal environment and corporate entrepreneurship were developed. These models measure the key internal organizational factors that influence middle managers to initiate corporate ʹentrepreneurship and different entrepreneurial activities that SMEs applied for success. For data gathering the literature exploration and survey method was used. For this purpose, the stratified data sampling method was used and samples were selected from middle managers of SMEs in YAZD Province. Based on factors loading scores and components loading distribution, latent factors were extracted and named. The study concluded existence of twelve different factors for internal environment and four factors for corporate entrepreneurship. These results were confirmed by other relevant studies. For the analysis of extracted conceptual models validity of every internal organizational factor, the path and confirmatory factor analysis was applied, lhe results indicated the causality between indicators and latent factors. Then, a structural model based on SEM was developed to examine the relationship between latent factors of internal environment and corporate entrepreneurship. Result confirms the positive causal effects of identification of innovative opportunities, work discretion and supporting of innovative behavior and negative causal effects of supported organizational structure and formal reinforcement programs on entrepreneurial activities.
