Imam Khomeini (RA) and Effective or Active Training

In this piece of article Imam Khomeiniʹs views on effective or active training are discussed using explanatory descriptive method. His views are detected from his works, including his writings, letters, and lectures. First the objectives of training are explained according to the views of Imam Khomeini, and then the necessity and importance of training are discussed. Afterwards, effective or active training is defined and the view points of Imam Khomeini are discussed and the indicators of this kind of training are presented according to his ideas. Some of these indicators are as follow: Having the capacity to be explained, and presenting indicators and standards 1- Considering the internal motivation and stimulus of the trainee 2- Reinforcing the possibility of assessment and evaluation 3- Preparing for practical involvement 4- Reinforcing the willpower and responsiveness 5- Being natural and innate 6- Having presented the characteristics of active training from the point of view of Imam Khomeini, practical implications are offered for the educational system in Iran.
