The effect of driving behaviour on road traffic and safety

Driving is an aspect of social behaviour. Because, driving is a general activity and it is not considered as a personal issue ander any circumstances having bounds is very important in personal activities. But driving poses different threats to others. Due to the fact that, driving has a serious relation to the life of people, so, safety is a multi-dimensional issue and accidents are its results that occur in different places and times. Road safety is an issue that affects all of us and it paves the way for the participation of all the society, so, a pivotal element in driving behaviour is how to choose movement speed. High speed will increase the rate of accidents, injury and death the ratio of this relation is very high. Small upsurge of speed will lead to the danger. The speed increases for one percent, the death rate will increase 4% to 12% percent. Key Words: road safety, driving behaviour, road traffic, behaviour shift, traffic training.
