Developing a supervision and evaluation model for universities athletic departments performance

The Purpose of this research was to developing a supervision and appraisal model for universities intramural performance. To do so, physical education and sport of universities extra-program status questionnaire by pilot-study, test-retest and specialist views methods were assessed. Thus, validity and reliability of questionnaire items about (r=73%) has been shown. The statistical population was 60 universities approximately. Also, the Number of sample was the same as population. Data analysis was done to using Spss (ver 11/5), SAS, Pass 2000, Ness 2000 softwares. The statistical tests were Alpha Chroenbech, Chi-square, factor analysis, Hierarchical cluster analysis, Euclid distance, Euclid square, rotated component matrix median dendrogram. The structural status, human resource, budget, facilities and program variables were assessed completely. The universities classification has been shown to four methods. Finally, three-level classification model were recommended. The diagram analysis of physical education management in universities was assessed. Furthermore, the diagram of appropriate with any levels was gotten as formally. Therefore, the job-description of related to each universities unit was gotten. The appraisal checklists and parameters from student sport programs were gotten though a scope studies. The appraisal model from universities sport was designed in predictive, process and final supervision. Finally, the model of EFQM was selected among methods others. This model was adapted with students sport criteria.
