Digital Heritage From Administrative Automation to Digitalized National Archives

The present essay is going to introduce administrative automation and digitalized national archives generally and to discuss the interplay between them. In addition to the necessity and forte of administrative automation, the challenges caused by it in digital archives, the mutual point of automation and archives, and the kinds of electronic records are explained. Itʹs concluded that governmental records are part of Iranʹs National Archives, then itʹs necessary the experts of this organization aware of the value of records and the importance of administrative automation. Itʹs also said that administrative automation included some electronic records whose preservation requires some consideration and special management because of their value and validity.
