A Study of the Compatibility between Climate Factors and Circulation System in Urmia City

This article is an attempt to inspect the compatibility between clim factors and circulation system in Urmia city. The importance of this subj is due to the fact that not only environmental and climate factors c mitigate the social, economic, and living problems but also they p important role in the path of sustainable development in a city. In additi to sightseeing and field studies, this research utilizes the informati obtained from the Meteorological Organization through applying the Olg method. Analysis of the data on existing site indicates that in Urmia c except three months of May, June, and September, in other months, productivity of solar energy and provision of shade in making safety invariable. At nights also except four months of May, June, July, a August, in all other months, there is the existence of a cold bioclima condition control. The adjustment of results on the relationship betwe climate factors and communication system of the study area, it has becoi clear that fabric (organic) texture of the city has developed in relation w the regionʹs climate, but this fact has ignored in the newly built texti because of exceeding and imbalanced development. Therefore, under th* conditions to mitigate existing problems, it is necessary that the urt texture should be compact and the design of the streets should be in 1 north to south directions added to this the environmental and clim. consideration in development of new urban spaces.
