چكيده لاتين :
The purpose of this paper is to investigate Dr. Shakuiʹs thoughts and opinions through reading his works carefully and to represent a narration of evolution trend in his thought and mind in three specified intellectual periods. The first period (1970-74) is defined with two books," Philosophy of Geography" and "Urban Geography". Investigating the works of the above period precisely, demonstrates Dr. Shakui as a commentator of geographical thoughts and schools. Studying the works written in the second period of his intellectual-scientific life (1974-1978) -"New Towns", "A Preface on Tourism Geography", "Urban Environment" and "Urban Slum Residents" represents a significant and considerable evolution in his opinions and thoughts. In this period Dr. Shakui turns to criticism and analysis of geographical concepts and issues while still emphasizing on explanation. The third period of his scientific activities (1978-2005) including several books and papers starts with writing "Operational Geography and Geographical Schools" and ends with "New Thoughts in Philosophy of Geography" (second volume). In fact in his works of the recent period the first signs of theorizing about geographical issues along with explaining, criticizing and analyzing them are considered. Thereforeʹ Dr. Shakui starts codifying theories while he is still explaining and criticizing.
