Comparison of mental health of married students with single ones from the viewpoint of positive theorist of Tarbiat Moallem University

From the viewpoint of positive theorist, this article compares mental health of single students with married ones in Tarbiat Moallem University. The esthetical society is 5858 students of graduate course and among 459 (293 single and 66 married) were selected randomly. The researcher - made questioner was used to measure mental health of the students. The questioner had internal, contend, separator, and criterion validity; Internal validity was 94%. That shows an acceptable validity for measuring the variables. Results: mental health of married students is significantly more than the single ones. No significance relationship between girls and boys. The interaction between gender and marital situation is not significant. Generally, married students, in comparison with single ones, enjoyed from higher mental health.
